The Aroma Federation of India (AFI) is a platform dedicated to bringing together the diverse community/associations connected with aroma products, flavours, fragrances, industry, education and skills.
AFI brings together industry professionals, businesses, scientists, educators, skilled practitioners, institutions, entrepreneurs, students and other stakeholders with a shared purpose—to strengthen cooperation, encourage knowledge exchange and contribute to the progressive development of India’s aroma ecosystem.
Our role goes beyond creating a network. AFI seeks to provide a platform for dialogue, collaboration, education, research, training and skill development, while facilitating meaningful engagement with allied federations, scientists and institutions in India and internationally.
AFI also aims to represent the collective views of the Federation on matters affecting the trade, industry, education and skilled community before relevant government and public bodies.
From knowledge and innovation to rural development and farmer education, AFI’s vision encompasses the wider value chain that contributes to India’s aroma sector. The Federation’s objectives include promoting rural development, employment opportunities—particularly for women—and educating farmers about modern agro-technology, new crops and plantations.
